Do you have any doubts?
Here are the questions most frequently asked by those who choose to take a trip to Kenya.
It is strongly recommended that you contact your travel doctor (or local health authority) and make an appointment to assess any vaccinations before arriving in Kenya. Depending on the situation and the countries visited before arrival, some vaccines may be necessary. REMEMBER: if you want to travel to Zanzibar passing through Kenya first, the yellow fever vaccine is mandatory.
Tourist Visa PRINTED IN COLOR issued by

(to be requested at least a few weeks before your arrival in the country)
All citizens over 16 years of age need a visa to enter the country. This must be obtained before arrival, by applying on the official website ecitizen.go.ke . Be careful because there are several sites that offer the visa application service, but with an additional cost.
Also, remember that the passport must have at least 6 months of residual validity and the visa must necessarily be printed in color.
Most camps and lodges have Wi-Fi/Internet available for guests, although speed may be slow and coverage may not be complete. If you want to stay connected at all times we recommend getting a local sim card (airtel or safaricom) to avoid coverage issues, you can request it with your original passport, one of our guides can accompany you to one of the shops that provide the service.
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, lip balm. Insect repellent (possibly tropical version, should be applied every 6-8 hours).
Clothing must be comfortable, bring long changes of clothes for the evening and early morning, t-shirts and shorts for the day, but remember to bring several changes because the red earth of the savannah can be annoying. Also remember a swimsuit because the accommodations often have a swimming pool and comfortable shoes (possibly old and not white to avoid the risk of staining them). Also important are essential medications, including painkillers for common headaches, medicine for dysentery, paracetamol and eye drops for any dirt in the eyes. The camera is unforgettable and, if you want to be sure of seeing animals even from a distance, binoculars. REMEMBER: drones are prohibited in Kenya.
From 0 to infinity, safaris are suitable for everyone! For the little ones from 0-4 years old we recommend two-day and one-night safaris (no day safaris because they are too tiring), from 5 years old and up also multi-day safaris. The little guests are the ones who will have the most fun, to the delight of the older ones. Get excited together with your children, imagine seeing them open-mouthed in front of a lion, or having them play to find animals hidden in the savannah. We at Velochy Epic Adventures guarantee you maximum safety in all your trips, the vehicles chosen, the high quality standards in the accommodation offered, the certified guides who will be able to promptly resolve any unforeseen event, all you have to do is enjoy the savannah and live the most beautiful trip of your life.
